Sunekos 200 and Sunekos 1200 – a new extracellular matrix regeneration system used in the skin biogenesis process

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Sunekos is a unique, patented combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids (PCT / IB2015), which stimulates the regeneration of extracellular matrix, also called ECM. Due to the skin aging process, we observe a reduction in the number and activity of fibroblasts, and as a result a reduction in the main structural elements of the extracellular matrix (ECM). The product therefore stimulates fibroblasts to create new skin protein fibers, such as collagen and, above all, elastin. This process is called skin biogenesis, which is possible only thanks to strictly selected qualitative and quantitative amino acids in combination with hyaluronic acid. This is what Sunekos guarantees. These amino acids are primarily glycine, proline, hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine. Valine and lysine, on the other hand, enable the production of elastin. The product has been proven in clinical research to increase its production, which makes it stand out on the market.

WHAT PART OF THE BODY? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

Sunekos is distinguished by multidirectional action. The therapy provides us with hydration of deep and superficial layers of the skin, very natural volumetric effect and smoothing of facial wrinkles.

Injection can also be applied to the neck, cleavage, hands, arms, inside of the thighs and the area under the knees. Due to its incredible purity and delicacy, we can apply it to any area of the skin, even on the eyelids, which are extremely problematic in treating the area, to eliminate shadows under the eyes.

FOR WHOM, WHAT AGE?

Sunekos shows high effectiveness regardless of the patient’s age, but it must be remembered that prevention is always more effective than cure, which is why in patients under 40 we will get better results in a shorter time, while the older ones will require more treatments. However, this is analysed and diagnosed by the doctor during an individual consultation.

There are 2 product lines i.e.Sunekos 200 (for slightly younger patients with less visible wrinkles) and Sunekos 1200 (for patients with more visible signs of ageing). In some cases, combined procedures are also used.

TREATMENT PROCEDURE (DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE STEP BY STEP)

Preparations by the doctor: a combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids.
Cleaning and disinfection of the area to be treated.
Administration of the preparation using one of three techniques: microbolus, interstitial fluid or cannula. The injection method is selected on the basis of the individual needs of the patient and the doctor’s preferences.

The technique of performing the Sunekos procedure is a very important element. Therefore, it should be performed only by a doctor certified and trained in this field, who has three well-defined injection techniques to choose from.

DOES IT HURT?

The procedure is not painful, but if the patient is very sensitive to puncture, you can use an anaesthetic cream (15-20 minutes before the start of the procedure).

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The Sunekos procedure lasts as long as the patient requires. Medical procedures do not specify the time of treatment. Depending on the technique used, however, it should last between 30 minutes and 1 hour.

WHEN CAN I SEE THE EFFECT?

A very subtle and natural volumetric effect is visible immediately after the procedure. Wait for the next effects of skin brightening, wrinkle smoothing and firming – the first are visible after about 10 days, and the final ones last over 6 months

DOES IT HAVE TO BE IN THE SERIES? IF SO, HOW MANY TREATMENTS IN THE SERIES?

In the case of very deep wrinkles and loss of volume (e.g. cheeks), Sunekos 1200 is administered at the beginning to ensure “scaffolding”, and then the standard Sunekos 200 procedure begins, 1-2 days after the procedure, which includes 3-4 treatments at intervals of 7-10 days. Sunekos therapy includes several treatments whose number and frequency are selected individually by the doctor, depending on the individual needs of the patient.

HOW LONG DOES THE RECONVALESCENT TAKE AND WHAT IS ITS COURSE?

The treatment does not leave any permanent marks on the skin. Occasionally, swelling, redness or itching may occur at the punctured area, which should disappear after 1-3 days.
