Injection lipolysis involves the administration of a phosphatidylcholine solution into the adipose tissue, which has a lipolytic effect.

Phosphatidylcholine is injected directly into body fat. The selected skin surface is subjected to a series of injections. After the procedure, swelling, redness and minor bruising may appear. The treated area is slightly tender. These symptoms usually disappear within 4-5 days.

Injection lipolysis is not a method of slimming, but only body shaping. The treatment is intended for relatively thin people with a small local accumulation of fat, which cannot be removed with the help of intensive exercise and diet. The body area most often subjected to the treatment is chin, abdomen, buttocks, hips, shoulders. The treatment also allows the elimination of local fat accumulation on the back, above the knees and is also used to treat lipomas.

The procedure should usually be repeated 2 to 5 times with 6-8 weeks of intervals between treatments. There may be no treatment effects, but it is only referes to 2% of patients.

Between treatments, the treated areas can be subjected to massages (slimming massage and lymphatic drainage are particularly recommended).
