Radiesse – (calcium hydroxyapatite) is an injection preparation that not only corrects and fills wrinkles, but also stimulates the skin, activating it to produce its own collagen fibers.
Radiesse treatment increases the density of the skin and improves its structure without the effect of excessive volume addition. It is aimed at such body parts as the face, neck, cleavage and hands.
By suspending calcium hydroxyapatite molecules in a gel matrix, whose main components are water and glycerin, a semi-solid state of preparation is obtained. Thanks to the special gel carrier, immediate filling effect is possible, visible immediately after the procedure. Over time (about 4 months) the gel is absorbed but its place is taken by new collagen produced by fibroblasts. The production of new collagen takes place around calcium hydroxyapatite microparticles, which form a “scaffolding” in the tissues and are a specific factor stimulating the production of collagen fibers. Thanks to this, the skin naturally rejuvenates, becomes thicker and more elastic.
The guarantee of the safety of the procedure is the main ingredient of the Radiesse preparation – calcium hydroxyapatite with a unique and patented composition, identical to that found in human bones and teeth. When deciding on the procedure, there is no need for antiallergic tests, the preparation does not contain ingredients of animal origin.
